Can you introduce yourself?
Hello everyone! Let me introduce myself: I am Maria and I am 53 years old.

For how long have you been working at Ottevanger?
After an introductory meeting in June 2018 at a recruitment office, I was introduced to Ottevanger Milling Engineers. After I had the best job interview ever, I started on 1 July 2018 as a warehouse employee at Ottevanger Aalten. Altogether, I have been working at Ottevanger for three years now.

What are your tasks and responsibilities?
My tasks and responsibilities within Ottevanger are very diverse. It mainly concerns picking orders, reporting received goods and occasionally I am also busy with loading and unloading material. My responsibility is to check goods and ensure that they are sorted well. In this way, my colleagues in the workshop can make the right products with the right materials.

What does a working day normally look like?
The best thing about my job is that no working day is the same. I enjoy my work and there aren’t really things I don’t like.

What would you like to be able to do (even better) and what are you proud of?
In my three years at Ottevanger I have already learned a lot about all kinds of materials and what they are used for. You also learn a lot about what has changed over the years. We never stand still, so I always keep learning.

I am also proud of Ottevanger. It is a very social, inclusive company where the staff are well taken care of. In my opinion, we should be proud of what we make and who we are.

Do you have anything left to say to all the readers?
Eventually we do our work as a team. The whole team together produces a great end product. Only together can we make the beautiful things we make, and we are proud of that.

I hope to work at Ottevanger for many more years to come.
