Containerized Mills

The modular containerized feedmill, also known as the Modumill, is a concept developed by Ottevanger Milling Engineers in the early 70’s. Since then we successfully updated this concept to meet the latest standards in milling technology. Over the past decades a complete range of highly efficient production units have been developed and installed all around the globe.

The full modular solution unit is pre-assembled in our factory reducing on site installation time up to 80%. A full electric control and automation is also part of the concept and can be upgraded to a fully computerized system. The Modumill comes with a capacity range from 1 to 60 metric tonnes per hour.

The equipment is installed in 20-foot containers which can be handled as separate modules. The frame of the container is not only used for shipment but also serves as steel structure of the machine tower.

We create modular solutions for:

Advantages of containerized mills:

  • All components are reliable and tested
  • Minimum installation time on site, reduced up to 80%
  • Low freight costs and easy handling
  • Complete with support frame
  • Complete with all electrical and compressed air systems
  • Assembled and checked in factory before dispatch
  • Saving on civil and building costs
  • Low energy consumption
  • Easy to expand

Proven concept with many outstanding references.

FeedForward: Scaling-up for success

The Triott Group broadcast its first FeedForward webazine of 2022 in April, this episode focuses on how feed manufactures can leverage the very latest in production technology and knowhow to more profitably serve local markets at mid-sized volumes.
