Supporting young animal performance through precision nutrition
Specialised Ruminant Feed Production
Klaremelk Feed B.V. is a Dutch family-owned company with more than 60 years of experience in young animal nutrition, with a particular focus on calves, lambs and piglets. From its location in Speuld, the company develops specialised nutritional solutions designed to support the growth and development of young animals.
In 2018, Klaremelk expanded its production capabilities with a conventional feed production facility with a capacity of 20 t/h. Ottevanger supplied the production technology for the facility, which was designed specifically for the production of ruminant feed.
The facility combines precise dosing and mixing with an automated production system. Integrated process control supports formulation accuracy, traceability and consistent production while allowing Klaremelk to efficiently produce specialised feed formulations.
In 2020, Klaremelk further expanded its activities with a roughage feed plant in Harderwijk. Here, the company produces compound feeds for calves that complement its milk replacers. Together, these products allow Klaremelk to provide an integrated feeding programme for young animals..
