Bucket Elevator
Ottevanger bucket elevators are designed for reliable, enclosed vertical transport of a wide range of bulk materials, both granular and powders. Two belt speed regimes are used: 1.8 m/s for gentle handling of pellets or sticky products such as meal, and 2.6 m/s for maximum capacity with grains and other free-flowing granulates. Depending on execution and product, capacities are available up to 500 m³/h.

Options include speed sensors, belt-misalignment detection, spot filters, and explosion-pressure relief break plates on the legs and head. ATEX 22 zoned drive units are available.
Elevators have service hatches, exchangeable kryptane wear plates, belt tensioners, and oil/fat-resistant belts (also highly acid-resistant) to simplify upkeep and extend service life.
Executions in AISI 304 stainless or galvanised S235 steel, tubular legs, residue-free elevator boots, HDPE buckets, and all-weather drive housings can be specified based on hygiene and corrosion requirements.
