From grain to feed

Vacuum Coater

Ottevanger Vacuum Coaters add high levels of liquids to pellets and extrudates using a batch vacuum process that drives liquids deep into the pellet core. This ensures uniform, stable coating and consistent product quality. Compact and energy efficient, the system is widely used in aqua feed, pet food, and compound feed production.

  • Uniform liquid distribution
  • Deep core penetration
  • Compact, energy-efficient design

Precise and efficient nutrient application

Vacuum coating allows fats, oils and additives to be absorbed deep into the feed pellet instead of remaining on the surface. This results in more accurate dosing, better pellet quality and less product loss. In the feed mill, it improves feed consistency, hygiene and nutritional control, especially for high-value and sensitive formulations.
