Smart Steam Dosing Unit

The Ottevanger Smart steam dosing unit provides controlled addition of wet, saturated steam while monitoring key parameters to assess steam quality. By capturing data at the right measurement points, the unit gives operators clear insight into network performance, helps identify bottlenecks sooner, and supports predictive maintenance. A compact, assembled skid with A-quality components is simple to install using the supplied instructions and is designed for long service life with minimal downtime.

  • Remote Terminal Unit for comparing steam processes across sites.
  • Data-driven insight into steam quality for earlier detection of bottlenecks.
  • Maintenance-friendly layout with positioned shut-off valves and drains.

FAQ

It collects smart data at key points to indicate steam quality and network performance, enabling earlier detection of bottlenecks and process optimisation.

Trend data (“anticipating data”) highlights deviations before they cause stoppages, allowing maintenance to be planned.

Standard executions cover 130–2,750 kg/h.

No. The compact, assembled skid is simple to install using the instructions supplied with the unit.

Yes. The insulation can be finished with smooth or stucco-embossed aluminium sheets.
