Advanced pelleting technology in a modular design
C30-25 Containerised Feed Mill for COAVE
COAVE, an agricultural cooperative in the Dominican Republic, partnered with Ottevanger for a new C30-25 containerised feed mill to support its activities in poultry and pig farming and animal feed production.
A distinctive feature of the project is the integration of the Progress MonoRoll HE850x210 into the containerised concept. This is the first time this type of MonoRoll has been incorporated into an Ottevanger containerised feed mill in this configuration.
The Progress MonoRoll uses a single press roll to create a controlled pelleting process. The technology makes it possible to process more product at a comparable level of energy consumption, supporting efficient production and consistent pellet quality.
By integrating this advanced pelleting technology into the C30-25, the project demonstrates how a compact modular feed mill can combine efficient use of space with advanced process technology.
Before shipment, the complete installation was assembled and extensively tested at Ottevanger in the Netherlands. Following successful testing, the feed mill was prepared for transport to COAVE in the Dominican Republic.
