Cairo Poultry Company (CPC)

With demand for poultry feed growing in Egypt, Cairo Poultry Company (CPC) sought to significantly increase its production capacity. Rather than expanding its existing facilities, CPC partnered with Ottevanger to build a new poultry feed mill near Cairo.

Ottevanger designed and delivered a conventional feed mill with a capacity of up to 90 tonnes of mash feed per hour or 60 t/h of pellets and crumbs. The high-capacity installation enabled CPC to produce fifteen batches of six tonnes per hour, providing both high throughput and production flexibility.

The plant incorporated advanced equipment for batching, grinding, mixing and pelleting. Ottevanger also supplied an integrated control system to manage the production process and support consistent feed quality.

The installation gave CPC the flexibility to produce both mash and pelleted poultry feed. Combined with the high-capacity design and automated production process, the new feed mill significantly increased CPC’s production capacity and provided a solid foundation for efficient poultry feed production.
