Osool Poultry

Osool Poultry operates a large integrated broiler breeder project in Al Ghaftain, Oman. As part of the development of the poultry complex, a dedicated feed mill was built to supply feed for the company’s own breeder operations.

The feed mill has a production capacity of 20 t/h and incorporates the main processes required for poultry feed production. The installation includes raw material intake and conveying, weighing and microdosing systems, pelleting and cooling, as well as liquid dosing and finished product handling.

Micro-ingredients can be accurately incorporated into the production process through the dedicated microdosing system. Liquid dosing systems provide additional flexibility in feed formulation, while the pelleting and cooling section prepares the finished poultry feed for further handling.

The installation also includes extensive conveying equipment connecting the different production stages. Finished feed can be handled through the plant’s outloading and bagging facilities, providing flexibility in the way feed is distributed within the poultry operation.

Installation of the Ottevanger equipment was underway in 2020 as part of the construction of the wider Osool Poultry complex. The resulting feed mill provides Osool Poultry with an integrated source of feed for its large-scale breeder operations in Oman.
