Fane Valley Group, a long‑established co‑operative in Northern Ireland, decided to invest in a high‑capacity feed mill to support its diversified farming base. Working closely with Ottevanger, the company developed a conventional plant capable of producing 60 tonnes of animal feed per hour. This facility supplies feed for cattle, poultry and sheep, ensuring that farmers have access to consistent, high‑quality rations.
The project reflects Fane Valley’s commitment to meeting local demand through modern processing technology. Ottevanger provided an integrated solution that includes automated batching, efficient mixing, precision pelleting and reliable out‑loading systems. The plant can handle multiple formulas and adjust quickly to changing market needs, allowing Fane Valley to maintain product diversity without compromising throughput. With its robust design and advanced control systems, the feed mill guarantees hygienic production and traceability, underpinning the co‑operative’s reputation for quality and reliability.
