IVS Dosing Technology became part of our organisation – not only due to its outstanding 30-year track record in steam and liquid dosing, but because of shared values (IVS equals Innovation, Versatility and Service).
Now, as part of the continued evolution of our business, IVS will operate under the Ottevanger name from 2026. Not only does this give our valued customers a single point of contact and more clarity and transparency in our day-to-day business dealings. It also enables greater integration of dosing – a crucial stage in the feed production process, of course – to be even more closely integrated with our portfolio of Process Solutions, from intake to packaging.
Taking the difficulty out of dosing
Good quality, hot steam is the cornerstone of the broader conditioning process. It’s essential for penetrating into the center of the feed particles and properly conditioning and hygienizing the feed. Conceived nearly 40 years ago, the IVS Dosing Technology steam injection system has now reached 1,000-plus installations across the global animal feed industry, not only improving conditioning and compressibility, but crucially increasing press capacity by up to 20%.
