While Ottevanger began its life repairing windmills, Almex - another family business - began in the early 1970s repairing and installing the extruders used to cook and hygienize animal feed. Today, that has grown to a complete portfolio of high-quality extruders and expanders, valued by feed operators worldwide.

As part of this ongoing evolution, Almex will operate under the Ottevanger name from 2026. This gives our customers a single point of contact and greater clarity in everyday collaboration. It also brings extrusion – an essential step in feed production – even closer to our full portfolio of Process Solutions, from intake to packaging. By uniting our strengths, we make the entire process more connected, more transparent and more effective for every operator.
