Micro Dosing System
Ottevanger’s micro ingredient dosing system automates precise dosing of small batch components. It can include up to 34 dosing cells with screw feeders and optional rotary discharge for difficult products, feeding one to three weighers on multiple levels. A typical three weigher setup is 5, 10, and 50 kg net with 5, 10, and 50 g accuracy, using stainless or coated mild steel bins for in line central batching.

- Dosing cells: up to 34, each with individual screw feeder (various diameters; fine-dosing screw under large screw for accuracy).
- Weighers: one, two or three levels; typical net capacities 5 / 10 / 50 kg with 5 / 10 / 50 g accuracy.
- Discharge/airlock: two flexible rotary valves with flexible connection acting as an airlock; optional rotary discharger for poorly flowing products.
- Bins & bunkers: stainless steel or ST37/mild steel with food-quality internal coating.
- System layout: in-line with central batch; option to homogenise micro-ingredients with a carrier in a separate mixer before adding to the main batch.
