Raiffeisen Ems-Vechte

Raiffeisen Ems-Vechte upgraded one of its existing pelleting lines with Ottevanger technology to improve production efficiency while maintaining consistent pellet quality. The installation combines pre-compaction, MonoRoll pelleting technology and double conditioning in an integrated setup.

The MonoRoll configuration provides an alternative approach to conventional pelleting by combining pre-compaction with the pelleting process. According to Raiffeisen Ems-Vechte, the upgraded line achieved energy savings of approximately 15–20% while maintaining pellet quality and increasing throughput. The installation also resulted in quieter and more stable operation.

Double conditioning provides additional retention time and allows steam to be absorbed into the feed before it enters the pellet mill. This supports controlled conditioning and helps maintain stable pelleting conditions when processing different raw materials and recipes.

By combining pre-compaction, double conditioning and MonoRoll technology, the upgrade provides Raiffeisen Ems-Vechte with greater control over the pelleting process and an efficient setup for its feed production.
