With Egypt’s poultry industry expanding rapidly, Cairo Poultry Company sought to boost its feed production capacity to meet rising demand. Rather than adapting existing facilities, CPC partnered with Ottevanger to build a new feed mill from the ground up. The result is a state‑of‑the‑art plant near Cairo that combines high throughput with flexibility. The conventional feed line is designed to produce up to 90 tonnes of mash feed per hour or 60 t/h of pellets/crumbs, enabling CPC to run fifteen batches of six tonnes each hourweb.archive.org.

The collaboration builds on Ottevanger’s expertise in process engineering and automation. The new plant features advanced batching, grinding, mixing and pelleting equipment, all managed by a comprehensive control system that ensures consistent product quality. The ability to switch between mash and pelleted feed allows CPC to serve a diverse customer base while maintaining efficiency. Thanks to the high‑capacity design and automated processes, CPC has nearly doubled its feed output and strengthened its position in Egypt’s poultry sector.
