Steam Set
The Ottevanger Steam set supplies dry, high quality steam for conditioners, presses, expanders, and compactors. A pressure reducing unit and drainage vessel create superheated steam that heats product with minimal condensation, improving conditioning and often increasing press capacity by up to 20%. Compact, fully assembled systems are available from 150 to 2,500 kg/h.

- Manually operated bellows valve; steam filter
- Reducing unit adjustable approx. 0.8–2.5 bar
- Vertical drainage vessel with 0–10 bar pressure gauge; condensate vessel
- Drainage vessel with 0–10 bar pressure gauge and 0–200 °C thermometer
- 4 condensate valves, 2 thermodynamic steam traps, 2 flush valves
- Pneumatic flap valve with solenoid and open/close position indication
- Electrically operated control valve (Premio Plus) 4–20 mA with position feedback; control voltage 24 VDC or 230 VAC; mains 230 VAC
- Insulated with rock wool and finished with aluminium sheet cladding
