Ottevanger Milling Engineers is proud to be member of the Australian Oilseeds Federation. As member of the Australian Oilseeds federation Ottevanger Milling Engineers will contribute by sharing expertise in Oilseed processing, equipment and complete installations.
Ottevanger has a very long history of supplying processing solutions to the Oilseed Industry and offers turn-key solutions from Intake to final product including process control. We take great care in assessing project expectations first before specifying an appropriate processing technology.
Both chemical (solvent extraction) and mechanical (steam conditioning; expansion; extrusion; mechanical oil expelling) are used to process oilseed. Chemical processing makes it possible to minimise the residual oil in the resulting oilseed meal compared to mechanical processing. Mechanical Processing maximises the efficiency of thermal treatment and the digestibility of protein, fat and fibre.
Australian Oilseeds Federation
The Australian Oilseeds Federation Inc.(AOF) was established in 1970 to represent the common interest of all Australian industry participant and to promote the development, expansion and improvement of Australian Oilseed production.
